Account Supervisor

As Account Supervisor you are responsible for overall account management including client communication, scope definition, budgets, team management, delivery, and overall client satisfaction. You build positive client relationships and ensure the overall partnership is productive and rewarding. You possess a strong understanding of campaign strategies and tactics (across channels) and bring an informed perspective to internal and external discussions. You understand strategic nuances and effectively translate a client’s business situation to the internal agency team. You are a proven leader, able to guide both client and agency teams in the development of successful marketing programs, and you are skilled in proactively generating ideas to positively impact client businesses.


  • Act as the primary liaison between the client and agency
  • Understand the client’s business, organization structures, processes, and marketing plans
  • Anticipate client needs, identify solutions, and increase the value of service
  • Manage budgets and project scopes; ensure profitable delivery of services and client satisfaction
  • Maintain overall account health and quality of work
  • Understand traditional and digital marketing; align strategies and tactics across channels
  • Orchestrate and maximize talents of agency specialists against strategic client priorities
  • Identify trends and new strategic opportunities for the agency and client
  • Analyze campaign data and draw actionable insights to optimize results
  • Represent the agency in holistic planning and agency partner meetings
  • Develop client relationships and identify opportunities to add value
  • Develop proposals and present ideas and plans
  • Establish meaningful measures of the agency’s impact on the client’s business
  • Assist with new business pitches


  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
  • 6 or more years account management experience in an agency environment or equivalent client-side marketing experience required, 8+ years preferred
  • 2+ years experience working in digital marketing
  • Highly proficient in use of Microsoft office suite
  • Familiar with common reporting tools and systems
  • Ability to travel (up to 15%)
